Kunjungan “Top Gun” PDRM bersama keluarga masing-masing berjumlah seramai 17 orang ke Istanbul, Turki judi amat-amat menggelikan hati. Mana tidaknya, kunjungan ini sungguh ironi bilamana syarikat judi Da Ma Cai menaja PDRM untuk belajar menangani judi. Di mana suara Bahagian Agama dan Kaunseling PDRM (BAKA) berkaitan isu ini? Adakah ianya patuh syariah ataupun tidak?

Kedua, apa rasionalnya memilih Istanbul sebagai tempat “study trip” berkaitan judi? Tempat yang sepatutnya dikunjungi adalah Singapura, Macau, Taiwan, ataupun Hong Kong. Kunjungan ini bolehlah kita umpamakan sebagai melawat Australia untuk mempelajari cara penanaman Musang King.

Persoalan ketiga, mengapa “study trip” ini perlu membawa sekali isteri dan anak? Lebih janggal lagi, gambar yang bocor memperlihatkan bahawa mereka ini lebih banyak swafoto di tempat menarik dan menikmati makanan yang enak. Bila masanya mereka mempelajari cara membasmi judi?

Persoalan keempat pula apa rasionalnya Pengarah Narkotik Bukit Aman, Dato Sri Mohmad Salleh turut serta ke Istanbul? Apa kaitannya antara narkotik dengan judi atas talian? Tidak dilupakan juga beberapa pegawai kanan lain yang tiada kena mengena juga dilaporkan turut serta ke Istanbul.

Apa gunanya habiskan duit puluhan ribu pergi “study trip” untuk belajar cara tangani masalah judi atas talian sedangkan Raja Judi Malaysia Dato’ Sri Peter masih bebas menjalankan aktiviti judi haram diseluruh negara?

Adakah “study trip” ini hanyalah suatu hadiah cuti persaraan kepada Tan Sri Fuzi Harun kerana beliau akan bersara pada Mei 2019? Manakala Wan Najmuddin pula akan bersara pada bulan hadapan.

Lebih murni sekiranya wang tajaan ini digunakan oleh PDRM untuk menampung perbelanjaan membeli kasut anggota polis kerana dikhabarkan elaun pembelian kasut sudah dipotong dari dua pasang tahun lepas kepada sepasang untuk tahun ini. Ataupun wang tajaan itu boleh digunakan untuk membaiki berek polis yang berada dalam keadaan yang sangat membimbangkan.
