Jika disebut nama Rabitin Satir mesti ramai yang tidak mengenali. Namun jika disebut Rambo Bentong pasti pernah terlintas di fikiran anda akan nama ini.

Penjenayah ini dipanggil Rambo Bentong kerana tinggal dan menyendiri di dalam hutan di Bentong, Pahang tetapi sebenarnya dia berasal dari Tambunan, Sabah.

Pada November 2012, sebuah rumah yang didiami sepasang suami isteri telah dipecah masuk oleh seorang penjenayah lelaki berpakaian ala tentera iaitu Rambo Bentong. Rambo memukul si suami (mangsa) di kepala menggunakan senjata tumpul hingga pengsan.

Sebelum itu, Rambo bertanyakan kepada mangsa di mana beliau meletakkan senjata. Apabila mangsa berkata tiada senjata, ketika itulah mangsa dipukul.

Si isteri yang cuba menahan Rambo yang bertubi-tubi memukul mangsa, turut dicederakan dan dirogol walaupun telah merayu dengan mengatakan bahawa dia sedang mengandung, namun tidak diendahkan.

Rambo merampas kunci kereta dan pergi keluar memeriksa di dalam kereta. Rambo bertanyakan lagi kepada si isteri di mana senjata disimpan. Jawapan sama diberikan iaitu di rumah ini tiada senjata. Si isteri kemudian dirogol buat kali yang kedua. Selepas itu Rambo melarikan diri.

Si isteri seorang diri mamandu kereta dan membawa suaminya yang pengsan ke Hospital Bentong. Keesokan harinya, si suami dilaporkan telah meninggal dunia akibat kecederaan di kepala.

Mangsa dilaporkan bekerja sebagai kakitangan perhutanan. Disyaki Rambo telah memerhatikan gerak-geri mangsa yang membawa senjata api ke dalam hutan ketika bertugas. Sebab inilah Rambo memecah masuk ke dalam rumah mangsa dan mencari senjata api tersebut.

Tidak beberapa lama kemudian, Rambo Bentong berjaya diberkas oleh pihak polis.

Selepas ditahan, barulah polis berjaya mengaitkan Rambo Bentong dengan beberapa kejadian lampau antaranya rogol dan bunuh remaja perempuan 17 tahun di Kg Ketari, Bentong pada Mac 2009.

Bermakna sejak 2009 hingga 2012 (3 tahun) Rambo bebas kerana pihak berkuasa gagal menjejaki pembunuh sebenar. Ketika itu, timbul buah mulut di kalangan orang kampung, bahawa penjenayah yang merogol remaja 17 tahun itu adalah “orang minyak”.

Apabila cerita mula tersebar luas, misteri kekal menyelubungi penduduk Bentong sehinggalah Rambo ditangkap pada November 2012.

Tidak cukup dengan itu, Rambo juga dikaitkan dengan beberapa kes rogol kanak-kanak 8 dan 9 tahun.

Pada Ogos 2018 yang lalu, Mahkamah Persekutuan memutuskan hukuman dan sabitan ke atas suspek dikekalkan seperti keputusan sebelum rayuan iaitu hukuman penjara selama 115 tahun dan sebatan atas beberapa kesalahan rogol, liwat, dan bunuh.
